Friday September 22nd
Dropped my trailer in the yard and was told by dispatch to bobtail over to Kelowna terminal and wait for a load. Waited there til 2pm and was told I'll be getting a Vancouver load from the same place I dropped the trailer this morning. Back up to Winfield then and hooked a trailer full of flammable resin for the Ashland depot at Richmond, BC. After sorting the bills out at Kelowna terminal, set off towards Merritt and the Coquihalla toll highway towards Vancouver. Saw the Penner semi who had gone off the road and into the forest just south of Merritt. :-( .Picked up the yard keys at the Delta terminal then ran over to Richmond to drop the trailer and bobtail back to Delta, stopping at Tim Hortons on the way for a sandwich and coffee to go. Slept outside the Vancouver terminal.
