Got a steel trailer for Edmonton around 1am. Took it to the local scale and found there was too much weight on my drive axles. Went back to the terminal and Howard #505 helped me get it legal by moving the trailer axles and the fifth wheel. Thanks Howard, good man. After scaling again, I set off for Edmonton. Got some fuel at the Chilliwack Husky and headed back over the Coquihalla. More fuel at the Kamloops Husky (running on half tanks to keep me legal) and headed North up Yellowhead 5 through Blue River and a little town called Blackpool. Over the scale in the snow at the highways #5 and #16 junction and headed East through Jasper and back into Alberta. Got as far as Hinton and stopped at the Husky for fuel and a shower. Walked round to Marks workwear place and bought me some cold weather gear, -100c boots and a thermal hat. Back to the Husky for food and then to bed ready for an early start tomorrow.
