Sunday March 11th

Set off just after midnight and got around 50 miles when the low coolant alarm went off. OK, stop and top it up, no problem. Got another 10 miles and it went off again. Great. Managed to get it to a truck stop around 6 miles further on and then spent an hour and a half trying to fix the broken heater pipe where it was leaking from. Did as much as I could with the tools I have and set off again, hoping to get to Bismark where there will be some truck fixers. Got as far as New Salem and my truck decided it wanted to spend the rest of the day disguised as a fountain, so I gave up, parked up and phoned dispatch. Wait til tomorrow (Monday) I'm told. OK. Checked into a motel and went for a beer. Not a bad Sunday after all.
