Tuesday May 1st

Got a job to load in Saskatoon for Regina. Hooked an empty and ran up to the shipper on the North side of Town near the flying 'j'. Loaded up and headed South for Regina. Down there in around 3 hours, onto the bay and unloaded fairly quick. Round to the terminal and swapped trailers for a pre-loaded one I'm to take to Seattle, Washington. West on TCH1 and over the scale just West of Regina. Weights are legal for Canada but my drive axles are around 1500 lbs too heavy for the states. No problem, I'll slide the rear bogies forward a little to move that extra weight onto the trailer axles. Umm, the locking pins wont come out. Hammer, hammer, broke my hammer. Nuts. Call dispatch and spoke to Troy. Told to run to Medicine Hat and get it fixed tomorrow morning. OK. Through Swift Current and parked up just East of Medicine Hat for the night. The pic is on TCH1 between Lake Louise and Banff.
