Went round to work to see Connie-jo who deals with recruiting and immigration stuff. My current work permit runs out on July 23rd and, me being me, I decided to just extend my work permit now and go through all the Canadian residence paperwork next year. I was told I could do this by a lady I spoke to at CIC (Canadian Immigration) in April, but now I've been told I can't do this and no longer have time to do the residence thing. Silly me. Anyway, CJ is gonna try and sort it out for me. I need a new LMO (labour market opinion) from Services Canada which basically tells Immigration that Canada needs truck drivers and Kindersley are allowed to employ me. Watch this space I guess.
