Wednesday January 10th

Left my snowy lay-by at first light and bumbled as far as Lloydminster where I could at least eat and shower, even if I was gonna be stuck. The road East towards Saskatoon was closed, so I couldn't have gone even if I wanted to. Lloyd (blue lease volvo) and Wes (596?) were parked up at the petro, so I got some fuel then parked up myself. Lloyd was cooking a ham for lunch with cheese and bread and he kindly asked me to join him and Wes. Lovely it was too. Thanks Lloyd. Food eaten, we had a wander round Canadian Tyre and Peavey mart then went to Boston Pizza for more food. Full as a full thing, I decide to have a nap and see what tonight brings weather-wise. Got up around 11pm and it looked ok, so I set of for Stoon. The pics are of failed ice-racers.
