It's a holiday back in Canada, but not down here. Ran South from Cheyenne, into Colorado and down to the outskirts of Denver. Ran into the customer in Brighton, Co. around 8am and started to unload. 20 odd tons of peat moss and a pallet truck with no wheel bearings. Great fun. Anyway, 2 hours later and the trailer's empty. Dispatch tells me to run empty for 660 miles into Iowa, so off we go. Up I-76, over the border into Nebraska (another new state for me, #27) and East on I-80 for several hours, crossing the border into Iowa (state #28) and parked up at the Pilot truck stop in Council Bluffs. 615 miles done. Time for sleep.
