Sunday October 8th
Left Hollister POE and head south the 100 miles or so to Wells, Nevada and stopped at the Flying J for a shower. Grabbed some food and headed West through Sparks and Reno and into California. Chatted with a Martens driver (Dan or Don) on the CB all the way over to Sacramento, CA where I stopped at the 49er truck stop after getting fuel ($12 to park if you don't buy at least 75 gallons of fuel) and went to sleep, after watching some truck driver explain to the police that he really didn't know all that stolen stuff was on his truck. Who am I to judge?
