Tuesday October 10th
Was woken up by Andy the yard man knocking on the cab. He said they had sent off an estimate to Kindersley for the cost of the repairs necessary to the trailer and were waiting for word back so they could begin the work. Around an hour later I was told to take the trailer up to the repair shop on Rio Vista so they could get the work started. Hung around the repair shop yard til around 4pm and was told it was ready. Off we go again then. East on I-10 out of Los Angeles, great fun at that time of day. Scaled off at the Cat scale in Ontario, then got onto I-15 north and started heading back towards Canada. Drove through Las Vegas, NV, then around 30 miles of Arizona and into Utah where I got fuel at St George. Another 150 miles or so North the parked up at the Chevron in Fillamore, UT, for some sleep.
