Left La Grande around mid-day and headed West and then North over the state line into Washington state. The pic is the bridge which goes from Oregon into Washington state, over the Columbia river by McNary dam. On up I-82 over the Rattlesnake hills and on past/over Yakima, getting snowier all the time. Stopped for the night at the flying 'j' at Ellensburg on I-90 to avoid having to put the snow chains on to get over the Snoqualmie Pass (or so I thought). Hello to the Benbow family, by the way.
