Got a job from dispatch for California, but first have to run 180 miles or so North East to Carrot River to load with peat moss. Hooked an empty and off we go. Stopped for coffee and a subway at the Wakaw gas station between Saskatoon and Melfort. Out of there, through Melfort and into Tisdale where you turn North towards Nipawin. East again after a few miles, through Arborfield and on to Carrot River to load. It's 177 miles from Saskatoon to Carrot river but 194 back as you can't run through Arborfield loaded and have to run up through Nipawin. Anyway, loaded and scaled and back to Saskatoon where I parked up at the Flying 'j' for the night.
