Tuesday July 3rd
Got a job from Jason to load out of East Edmonton. Got me an empty from Tiger courier (owned by the same company as Kindersley) and ran round to the shipper to load some water treatment units. No pallet truck so they just push the 14 pallets/skids onto the back of the trailer. I ask Jason if this is OK, but after he speaks to Doug the safety man in Saskatoon, he says it isn't and will have to be reworked. The shipper goes off and buys a pallet truck (called a pallet jack in Canada) and we take it all off again and reload it at the front of the trailer. All good now, I leave Edmonton around 4:30pm and head for Stoon. Through Lloydminster and into Saskatchewan. Through North Battleford and South to Stoon. Into the terminal around 10:30pm and dropped the trailer. Can I take an urgent load of beer back to North Battleford says the satellite. OK. Hook the trailer and off we go back North. Midnight. The pic is Kindersleys' Saskatoon terminal.
